Inspecting hard-to-access industrial structures wind turbine blades, bridge undersides, tank interiors, offshore platforms, power plants still relies on scaffolding, rope access, and manual NDT. The process is slow, expensive, dangerous, and bottlenecked by a shortage of certified inspectors. As ageing infrastructure demands more frequent inspections, the gap between need and capacity widens every year.
VectorFly builds robotic platforms climbing robots, omnidirectional drones, and adhesion-based scanners that perform these inspections autonomously and safely. Founded by Leonardo Rössler, Pascal Burkard, and Yan Lütolf, the team combines deep robotics expertise with NDT industry experience. The global industrial inspection market exceeds USD 4.7 billion.
