Information flows along the agricultural value chain are bilateral, delayed or do not happen at all. This creates information asymmetries, leading to inefficient resource allocation, resource use and increased business risk. Terensis address this issue by tracking crop growth in near real-time through our crop digital twin, which is based on satellite imagery and crop models. With our technology, we can provide accurate crop yield estimates up to two months before harvest. Our mission is to provide access to the same information quantity and quality for all stakeholders along the agricultural value chain. We are ETH Pioneer Fellows Lukas Graf and Dr. Gregor Perich. We are eager to conquer the world cropland area estimated at 1.6 billion hectares with our crop digital twin.
