The month of April registered some interesting rounds, including BLP Digital AG (39 million CHF), Acutronic Holding AG (20 million CHF), and Planetary SA (16 million CHF). ICT (50 million CHF with 17 rounds), Foodtech (26 million CHF and 3 rounds) and Engineering (20 million CHF and 7 rounds) position themselves in the Top ranking for most active sectors. The fourth month of 2026 registered an increase when comparing to the same period of 2025: in the previous year, the Swiss startups raised a total of 123 million CHF, in 34 rounds, while in 2026 the Swiss companies raised a total of 139 million CHF in a total of 36 rounds, which represents an increase of 14% and an increase of 6% in the number of rounds. Compared to March 2026, the amount decreased by 56%, mainly explained by the large rounds of Kandou, Polares and Pave Space in the third month of the year.

ICT (192 million CHF with 8 rounds), Engineering (50 million CHF and 7 rounds) and Medtech (41 million CHF and 4 rounds) position themselves in the Top ranking for most active sectors. The third month of 2026 registered a huge increase decrease when comparing to the same period of 2025: in the previous year, the Swiss startups raised a total of 74 million CHF, in 44 rounds, while in 2026 the Swiss companies raised a total of 319 million CHF in a total of 36 rounds, which represents an increase of 331% and a decrease in the number of rounds of 18%. Compared to February 2026, the amount had a 187% increase, mainly explained by the large rounds of Kandou, Polares and Pave Space.

Cleantech (38 million CHF with 6 rounds), Engineering (24 million CHF and 10 rounds) and Biotech (13 million CHF and 5 rounds) position themselves in the Top ranking for most active sectors. The second month of 2026, nevertheless, registered a decrease when comparing to the same period of 2025: in the previous year, the Swiss startups raised a total of 256 million CHF, in 44 rounds, while in 2026 the Swiss companies raised a total of 111 million CHF in a total of 41 rounds, which represents a decrease of 57%. Compared to January 2026, the amount had a 72% decrease, mainly explained by the large rounds in the first month of the year.
