Swiss Venture Insights Report - November 2025

The month of November was a great month for Swiss startups, making one of the best months of the year. with only several significant large rounds: Distalmotion raised 121 million CHF, Flexion Robotics raised 40 million CHF, CDR-Life AG raised 38 million CHF, DeepJudge raised 33 million CHF and Delvitech raised 32 million CHF. Medtech (139 million CHF with 5 rounds) positioned in the Top ranking for most active sector, followed by Engineering (101 million CHF with 9 rounds) and ICT (78 million with 13 rounds). The month of November had an increase of 16% compared to October 2025 (from 385 million CHF in October to 447 million CHF in November), and the number of rounds was very much similar (45 in October, 47 in November). Compared to the same period of 2024, there is a huge increase in the total amount raised: in 2024, the Swiss startups raised a total of 343 million CHF, in 40 rounds, while in 2025 the Swiss companies raised a total of 447 million CHF in 47 rounds, which represents an increase of 30% compared to the same period of last year. In terms of number of rounds, there was an increase of 18%.

The month of October registered an increase compared to September, making one of the best months of the year, with two significant large rounds: Energy Vault raised 242 million CHF, and Ecorobotix raised 84 million CHF. Cleantech (254 million CHF with 8 rounds) positioned in the Top ranking for most active sector, followed by Foodtech (84 million CHF with 1 round) and ICT (33 million with 16 rounds). October’s funding rose by 56% compared to September 2025, increasing from CHF 247 million to CHF 385 million. Compared to the same period of 2024, there is a huge increase in the total amount raised: in 2024, the Swiss startups raised a total of 208 million CHF, in 40 rounds, while in 2025 the Swiss companies raised a total of 385 million CHF in 45 rounds, which represents an increase of 85% compared to the same period of last year. In terms of number of rounds, there was an increase of 13%.

The month of September registered a decrease compared to August, since this one of the best months of the year. with only one significant large round: Auterion raised 83 million CHF, with two big rounds from Cutiss (31 million CHF) and SpineArt (25 million CHF). Robotics (107 million CHF with 4 rounds) positioned in the Top ranking for most active sector, followed by Medtech (44 million CHF with 9 rounds) and Biotech (35 million with 9 rounds as well). The month of September had a decrease of 31% compared to August 2025 (from 359 million CHF in August to 247 million CHF), but a great increase in the number of rounds (21 in August to 45 in September). Compared to the same period of 2024, there is a huge increase in the total amount raised: in 2024, the Swiss startups raised a total of 150 million CHF, in 29 rounds, while in 2025 the Swiss companies raised a total of 247 million CHF in 45 rounds, which represents an increase of 64% compared to the same period of last year. In terms of number of rounds, there was an increase of 55%.
