The month of September registered a decrease compared to August, since this one of the best months of the year. with only one significant large round: Auterion raised 83 million CHF, with two big rounds from Cutiss (31 million CHF) and SpineArt (25 million CHF). Robotics (107 million CHF with 4 rounds) positioned in the Top ranking for most active sector, followed by Medtech (44 million CHF with 9 rounds) and Biotech (35 million with 9 rounds as well). The month of September had a decrease of 31% compared to August 2025 (from 359 million CHF in August to 247 million CHF), but a great increase in the number of rounds (21 in August to 45 in September). Compared to the same period of 2024, there is a huge increase in the total amount raised: in 2024, the Swiss startups raised a total of 150 million CHF, in 29 rounds, while in 2025 the Swiss companies raised a total of 247 million CHF in 45 rounds, which represents an increase of 64% compared to the same period of last year. In terms of number of rounds, there was an increase of 55%.
In August, financing volume nearly tripled compared to July, driven by the 242 million CHF round raised by Energy Vault. ICT (50 million CHF with 9 rounds) was the most active sector by deal volume. The month of August had an increase of 171% in financing volume compared to July 2025 (from 132 million CHF in July to 358 million CHF), and a smaller increase of 91% in deal volume (11 rounds in July to 21 rounds in August). Compared to the same period in 2024, there was a 171% increase in financing volume and a 42% decrease in deal volume. In August 2024, Swiss startups raised a total of 133 million CHF in 36 rounds, while in August 2025, Swiss companies raised a total of 358 million CHF in 21 rounds.

In terms of number of rounds, there was a decrease of 59%.
