Skyvor Medical AG

Home-based Clinical Trial Platform

On average $1.5bn is needed to develop a new drug, of which $1bn is spent on clinical trials. For clinical trials, the largest challenge has been to provide a patient-centric set up that promotes patient participation and encourages patient retention. COVID, because of its restraints on accessibility to clinics, has worsened the situation, where over 80% trials have been suspended during the pandemic. To address the pain point, we propose an end-to-end clinical trial platform to allow patients to participate trials from the comfort of their homes. The platform seamlessly integrates medical devices, digital endpoints, home blood tests, mobile APP and advanced analytics. Our team has strong expertise in development and will collaborate with University Hospital Basel to validate our solution.
