Sixteen44 provides methane (CH4) emitting operators (farms, landfills, water treatment plants) a revenue generating alternative to remove their CH4 emissions.

A Climate Deep Tech focused on stopping climate warming challenge by removing CH4 from point-sources and atmospheric hot spots while generating carbon removal credits, offsets and meeting regulations; or simply enabling the public to offset their own carbon footprint through our platform. Removing 1 ton of CH4 has the instantaneous impact equivalent to removing up to 150 tons of CO2. From a financial perspective removing 1 ton of CH4 is multiple times cheaper than removing CO2 because of the impact multiplication factor and because there is no by-product to capture and handle as in Direct Air Capture or Carbon Capture.
