Optohive pioneers an innovative and scalable brain monitoring solution designed to assess neurological disorders, starting with evaluating stroke recovery. While personalization of therapy is essential to maximize treatment success, the available methods to assess brain recovery are limited. Existing systems are complicated to use, large, expensive, or inaccurate, thereby limiting their practical use. Optohive provides a wearable, easy-to-use, affordable and accurate brain imaging system through the integration of a new class of sensors. This allows us to shed light into the black-box brain to enable more efficient and individualized neurorehabilitation. Our mission to establish a new standard of care is fueled by early sales to research institutions and key collaborations with clinics.

Venture Kick

Venture Kick supports potential entrepreneurs with start capital up to CHF 150'000 as well as hands-on execution support and access to a nationwide network of investors and experts in the startup field. Multiple times per year, 8 selected projects get the opportunity to present their business ideas in front of a panel. The 5 most promising projects enter the support process. After 9 months at the latest, the startups incorporate and enter the market. Since 2007, Venture Kick has invested over CHF 58 million in over 1111 projects.
