We develop and optimise solutions at low cost for automation customers facing growing labour shortages with the Open Parametric Hand (OPH) platform. The OPH uniquely addresses challenges in next generation robotic automation—requiring increased dexterity, flexibility to varied objects/tasks, robustness to uncertainties in the environment, and safety for operating within human environments—by offering light weight, low cost, and the ability to tailor function optimally for users applications. We develop individual grippers or complete automation solutions for logistics sorting, agricultural harvesting, food handling, and recycling sorting. Agricultural robotics alone has a market size of 15 billion USD. The team brings a mix of design specialists, industry, and founder experience.
