Mycrobez AG is developing the first fully automated production process for mycelium composites. From bio-waste and fungal mycelium, we can produce compostable and circular alternatives to petroleum-based plastics for the packaging, construction and agriculture industries. Mycrobez's automated production process makes it possible to bring mycelium composites to the mass market for the first time - and, thanks to innovative processes, to achieve competitiveness in price and throughput with materials such as Styropor®, while retaining the excellent material properties.The only difference to existing foams is the residue-free degradation in free nature. In this way, Mycrobez aims to make industries more circular and replace petroleum-based foams as the standard material.
