At MIRAI FOODS AG we are cultivating real meat directly from animal cells: our meat is grown using satellite stem cells and preadipocytes without genetic modification. MIRAIs natural pre-muscle cells efficiently differentiate only into muscle tissue so there is no need to force their maturation toward a specific tissue. Hence, required media are safer and more sustainable. This approach is often referred to as lab grown, cultivated or cultured meat. Our solution reduces environmental impact by 80-90%, yet preserving the taste, quality and nutritional values of traditional meat.
