Stress and mental-health disorders are rising, yet most digital solutions stay static they can't sense how a person actually feels or adapt in the moment. MAIKA closes that loop. Using contactless, camera-based sensing (rPPG), it reads a user's physiological state in real time and continuously adapts music to regulate the nervous system guiding it toward calm, focus, or recovery as the situation demands. Founded by psychotherapist Anna Karcher (CEO) and physicist and AI researcher Flavio Iannelli, PhD (CTO), MAIKA unites clinical psychology, neuroscience, and AI. Targeting a global wellness and mental-health market exceeding $100B, it serves corporate wellness programs, healthcare providers, and individuals beginning in the DACH region.

Venture Kick

Venture Kick supports potential entrepreneurs with start capital up to CHF 150'000 as well as hands-on execution support and access to a nationwide network of investors and experts in the startup field. Multiple times per year, 8 selected projects get the opportunity to present their business ideas in front of a panel. The 5 most promising projects enter the support process. After 9 months at the latest, the startups incorporate and enter the market. Since 2007, Venture Kick has invested over CHF 58 million in over 1111 projects.
