The Good-Food-Revolution - Luya is a new era of alternative protein: Real ingredients, 100% organic & naturally fermented. Luya's proprietary solid-state fermentation platform leverages protein and fibre rich side streams from food processing such as soybean okara or oil press cakes to create sustainable, zero-additive alternative proteins. Luya operates a pilot plant in Bern, Switzerland and sells its products in Swiss retail, food services and to the food industry. By partnering with agri-food companies, Luya to aims upcycle abundantly available side streams into healthy alternative proteins at a global scale and dramatically reduce the carbon footprint in the food system.
