LAYERED is an innovative system introducing autonomous mobile robotic surface treatment to construction sites. Aiming for efficient and safer applications, it reduces material waste and reliance on scarce skilled labor. LAYERED automates standard and bespoke finishing of concrete and masonry structures, doubling productivity, cutting waste by 20%, and limiting accidents and impacts on workers' health. Our core market includes construction companies(general contractors/subcontractors), interior finishing enterprises(plastering companies), and architecture firms that will use our technology. Plastering, one of the oldest construction trades, has seen little innovation since plaster pumps 100 years ago. LAYERED disrupts the industry by addressing major pain points and shifts.

Venture Kick supports potential entrepreneurs with start capital up to CHF 150'000 as well as hands-on execution support and access to a nationwide network of investors and experts in the startup field. Multiple times per year, 8 selected projects get the opportunity to present their business ideas in front of a panel. The 5 most promising projects enter the support process. After 9 months at the latest, the startups incorporate and enter the market. Since 2007, Venture Kick has invested over CHF 58 million in over 1111 projects.
