Next-gen microwave solutions for communication and energy

High power microwave sources will become the new hardware layer for high value industries. Fusion energy, millimeter wave drilling for deep geothermal, wireless power transmission, advanced materials processing, and next generation communications all require higher power and higher frequency sources. One technology can deliver this: gyrotrons, capable of 100 to 1000 times more power than alternatives in the sub-THz range, but today still produced as bespoke research devices. Larmor is industrializing gyrotrons by leveraging decades of unique, world-class expertise from the Swiss Plasma Center and its experts, and combining it with innovative manufacturing techniques. Our founding team consists of two experimental fusion PhDs. Initial unmet demand exceeds $1B, expanding toward a $50B+ TAM.
