By farming European spiny lobsters - Palinurus elephas - in our state-of-the-art indoor fully controlled facility, our approach, enables:
- 5x faster growth than in the wild
- an exclusive, naturally generated, stable raw material: molts (byproducts)
- no seasonal variations of the raw material
- full traceability

This unique raw material & our process produce a cGMP biomedical chitosan with:
- Reproducible biological properties
- High molecular weight > 400 kDa
- High degree of deacetylation DDA>95%
