Holoai is an AI startup founded in 2024, building Joaia at the frontier of travel and discovery. We help tourism destinations across Europe turn their local knowledge into agentic AI guides that reason, remember, and adapt. Destinations build and own these guides themselves.

Imagine a guide who knows Zurich’s hidden bars, a Roman merchant bringing ancient Chur to life, or a carnival insider walking you through Basel’s Fasnacht. Each guide has its own personality, expertise, and storytelling style.

We already work with destinations such as Zurich Tourism, Basel Tourism, Lucerne Tourism, and Graubünden Ferien. Our mission is to make local knowledge accessible to every traveler in a deeper, more personal, and more meaningful way.

Senior Product Manager / UX & Growth (100%) - Zurich / Hybrid

Product Manager / Fulltime

Every guide experience lives or dies in the product. How easily a destination builds and manages their guides with our Products. How naturally a traveler interacts with it on the ground. Your job is to make both sides work well. As our first dedicated Product Manager you own the full improvement loop across Joaia's live applications. You work closely with design and engineering, you talk to customers, you dig into the data, and you ship meaningful changes that move the needle. The core challenge is that our paying customer and our end user are not the same person. Destinations have their priorities. Travelers have their needs. The best person for this role understands both, can tell them apart, and knows when to push back in service of the better outcome. Real ownership from day one. Room to grow as the company scales.

AI Engineer (100%) - Zurich / Hybrid

You'll be the first dedicated AI Engineer at Joaia, working directly with Roger (CTO & co-founder). You own the Guide Engine - the AI core that powers every guide, story, and recommendation our users experience. The Guide Engine is already in production, powering real guide experiences for destinations across Europe. It runs on a network of specialized agents, each doing a specific job, working together to deliver something that feels intelligent, local, and alive. We've come a long way. And there's a huge amount still to figure out. This is a role for someone who is deeply curious about how these systems behave, who has strong intuitions about where they break, and who wants to push the boundaries of what's possible. Better reasoning, sharper outputs, stronger evaluation frameworks, agentic capabilities, memory - the foundation is solid and the next level is where it gets interesting.

Marketing Lead (100%) - Zurich / Hybrid

The product exists. The customers are real. The story is genuinely exciting. What is missing is someone to tell it. This is Joaia's first dedicated marketing hire. You will work directly with Darius, our CEO, to build the marketing function from the ground up. Positioning, website, content, sales materials, campaigns. No playbook to inherit, no committee to convince. We are an AI company and marketing here will be built that way from the start. Every workflow, every creative process, every framework designed with the most modern tools and thinking available. Not adapting old ways of working to AI, but rethinking them entirely. The core mandate is B2B: helping destinations across Europe understand what Joaia offers and why now is the moment. The consumer side is equally alive, with real room to bring the guide experiences to travelers in ways that have never been tried before. If you want to build something from scratch, at a company genuinely at the frontier, with full ownership and zero bureaucracy, this is the role.
