HeroSupport is advancing patient immobilisation in prone breast cancer radiotherapy. The CE-marked VENUS SHELL™ (patent pending) is a patient-specific, 3D-printed support that enables accurate, reproducible and more comfortable positioning. Our key differentiator is an integrated workflow combining a patented imaging table with transparent shaping elements, surface scanning, proprietary software and 3D printing. By capturing the patient's anatomy in its true treatment position, we generate a highly accurate personalised immobilisation device. Similar to custom persolanized ski boots: you need to capture the foot's true, weight-bearing shape by scanning it from below through a transparent surface. A non-weight-bearing image wouldn't provide the precision required for a perfect fit.
