Healium

Healium is a Swiss Medtech startup tackling medication non-adherence, which affects 50% of chronic patients and costs over €400B annually. The solution, called Medicase, is a smart, portable pill dispenser that makes treatment simple. The connected device automatically dispenses the right dose at the right time. A mobile app provides reminders, tracks adherence, and alerts caregivers when a dose is missed. By combining microengineering and digital health, Medicase ensures ease of use, reliability, and enhances patient's autonomy. With prototypes validated by CHUV, Unisanté, and H4, Healium is preparing pilot studies and a CHF 1.7M seed round to drive clinical validation and MDR certification.
