Using AI to improve management of urban drainage systems

Urban drainage systems are an important basis for public health and environmental protection as they transport wastewater from households to treatment plants and drain rainwater. Europe's public urban drainage systems cover a total of 2,500,000 km. These systems are currently challenged by ageing infrastructure, urbanisation and the increase in heavy rainfall. Pallon meets these challenges through the use of deep learning techniques, cloud computing and data analysis to help cities become more sustainable and resilient.

Sales Development Representative

Pallon is seeking a Sales Development Representative to serve as the initial point of contact for potential clients. Based in Zurich or remotely, the role centers on identifying and qualifying leads through cold outreach and social selling to schedule meetings for Account Executives. This position requires a native German speaker with high motivation and strong communication skills to help cities reduce CO2 emissions and prevent flooding. In exchange, Pallon offers a mission-driven culture, a fast-paced environment, and the opportunity for equity through an Employee Stock Option Plan.

Venture Kick

Venture Kick supports potential entrepreneurs with start capital up to CHF 150'000 as well as hands-on execution support and access to a nationwide network of investors and experts in the startup field. Multiple times per year, 8 selected projects get the opportunity to present their business ideas in front of a panel. The 5 most promising projects enter the support process. After 9 months at the latest, the startups incorporate and enter the market. Since 2007, Venture Kick has invested over CHF 58 million in over 1111 projects.
