Temperature resilient drones for firefighting
The FireDrone addresses the need for safe and efficient tools in extreme temperature environments such as firefighting and industrial inspection. Traditional drones fail in these environments, exposing workers to risks such as toxic smoke, structural collapse, and intense heat. The FireDrone is designed to withstand temperatures up to 200°C, enabling safe and rapid hazard detection and situational awareness. It enables users to increase safety, reduce operational downtime, and minimize environmental impact.
Led by Fabian Wiesemüller and David Häusermann, the venture is positioned as a leader in high-temperature solutions for safety and efficiency in a growing $1.3 billion firefighting drone market (2023) and $10.2 billion drone inspection market (2022).
