Fabas is a female run start-up focused on plant-based food made from pulses.
We offer solutions which fosters the full potential of pulses, bringing value from farm to fork.
Our journey started by launching a portfolio of B2C products such as hummus, falafel and burger patties in close collaboration with Swiss farmers. Learning about the massive challenges of plant based proteins, we've later on developed an extraction process for pulses which we combine with fermentation. With our novel technology, we are able to produce functional and sustainable protein ingredients that lead to plant-based products with better taste, higher nutritional value and locally sourced ingredients.
