An EPFL initiative, Eleum develops a novel Live Biotherapeutic Product (LBP) platform designed to treat chronic inflammation and metabolic diseases like ulcerative colitis by addressing their root cause. Instead of suppressing the immune system or merely managing symptoms, the technology introduces carefully selected, defined strains of gut bacteria to reprogram host bile acid signaling.
