Over 2/3 of the Swiss population are not satisfied with the quality of their sleep and 1 million mattresses are disposed of in Switzerland every year.
In 2019, product designer and researcher Joel Hügli tackled these problems as part of his master's thesis and later on founded ecomade. Together with Swiss partners he developed solutions for back-friendly, long lasting and recyclable mattresses and beds made.
