Daphne Technology is Climate Deep Tech company focused on solving the GHG emission challenge from hard-to-abate industries by removing methane (CH4) slip from the exhaust of gas engines while generating carbon credits that customers can use to monetize their emissions reduction efforts. CH4 is a very strong GHG and removing 1 ton of it has the instantaneous impact equivalent to removing 120 tons of CO2. From a financial perspective removing 1 ton of CH4 has the potential of being multiple times cheaper than removing CO2 because of the impact multiplication factor and because there is no by-product to capture and handle as in Carbon Capture.

The TOP 100 Swiss Startup Ranking features the 100 most promising startups that are not older than five years and are selected by a jury of early-stage investors.
Venture Kick supports potential entrepreneurs with start capital up to CHF 150'000 as well as hands-on execution support and access to a nationwide network of investors and experts in the startup field. Multiple times per year, 8 selected projects get the opportunity to present their business ideas in front of a panel. The 5 most promising projects enter the support process. After 9 months at the latest, the startups incorporate and enter the market. Since 2007, Venture Kick has invested over CHF 58 million in over 1111 projects.
The venture leaders - the members of the Swiss national startup team- have a clear-cut goal. They envision themselves as global players and want to take the first step to their global expansion. The ten-day business development program is specifically structured to help them achieve this goal.
The venture business plan competition takes place every year and combines a competition, learning events and contact form in one. It is an initiative of the ETH Zurich, CTI and McKinsey.
