The technology of coatingAI leverages the power of artificial intelligence to automate the coating process. Not only boost efficiency and quality levels to unprecedented heights but also reduce the environmental footprint. The coating industry is facing issues in quality control and labour shortage leading to high material consumption. To address these issues, coatingAI uses 3D computer vision and machine learning technologies to analyze the process in real time and derive optimizations from it. The software has passed proof of concept and is currently in the data collection phase. While at an early stage the product is already highly sought after by leading industry players and supported with 100k CHF by the Klimafonds Stadtwerk Winterthur.

Venture Kick

Venture Kick supports potential entrepreneurs with start capital up to CHF 150'000 as well as hands-on execution support and access to a nationwide network of investors and experts in the startup field. Multiple times per year, 8 selected projects get the opportunity to present their business ideas in front of a panel. The 5 most promising projects enter the support process. After 9 months at the latest, the startups incorporate and enter the market. Since 2007, Venture Kick has invested over CHF 58 million in over 1111 projects.
