CellX Biosolutions creates innovative bacteria-based products for efficient and targeted treatment of industrial chemical pollution. Pollution caused by industrial chemical by-products is a major global issue. Conventional disposal is costly and harmful, while current biological methods struggle at scale. We are creating high-performance bacterial products to effectively degrade hazardous industrial chemicals, leveraging a novel microfluidic-based tool to capture in remote environments bacteria capable of pollutant degradation.
The co-founding team is composed by Dr. Estelle Clerc (CEO), Geoffrey Besnier (COO) and Dr. Fabienne Kurt (CSO). Pollution treatment represents a 30 billion USD market, expected to increase by 82% by 2027.
