Rechargeable Noninvasive Wearable Continuous Glucose Monitor

We address three fundamental limitations concerning the current CGMs systems. Namely,

Need of lancet for finger pricks
Expensive periodic replacement of lancet based CGM sensors
Access issues in low/middle-income countries

We address these limitations by the development of non-invasive sweat-based continuous rechargeable glucose sensing patch (nLrCGM) is motivated by the following limitations:

Potential skin irritation
Pain if improperly pinch to arm
Bleeding
Signal loss in water/exercise
Cost barriers

We propose a system bringing the next-generation features like long reusable wear, ketone monitoring, and broader integrations into health care systems.
