Bionomous aims at bringing to the market new solutions that combines innovative micro-engineering design and machine learning methods to automatically count, screen, sort and dispense miniature biological entities, in particular the egg of zebrafish Danio rerio, which is a growing model in research and industry in genetics, development biology, diagnostics and toxicology. Our revenue model is based on both direct sales of the main device and recurrent revenues from consumables and software services. We are currently at the MVP stage, with first pre-orders that demonstrate the market traction. The first product version is on the market since 2022, and we obtained 350 kCHF of revenue during our first year of commercialization last year.
