Today, in industrialized countries, up to 25% of the total industrial energy consumption is used for material drying, mainly driven by fossil fuels at the cost of gigantic CO2 emissions and energy costs.
AquAero developed the Pure Steam Drying technology able to reduce the operating costs by cutting energy consumption by up to 70% while maintaining high product quality & productivity. Fossil fuel is replaced by renewable electricity and thus not only CO2 emissions are completely eliminated but also the gas dependency. The technology fits for all materials not sensitive >100°C, e.g. food, minerals, chemicals and biomass whereof AquAero chose a sales model in the mineral & mining market as the first vertical and a technology licensing model in the food & pet food market.
