We seek to address mechanical cervical dilatation during Hysteroscopies with a novel technology that offers safe, effective, and gentle cervical dilation. Since their invention in 1879, mechanical dilators (e.g., Hegar, Pratt) are utilized in 75% of offices, and present significant concerns in 30-95% of cases. Complications include the inability to access the uterine cavity, trauma, perforation, and false passages. CerA&Mvix provides atraumatic dilation and offers a disposable, pass-through method of cervical dilation with direct and unobstructed visualization of the uterine cavity and atraumatic passageway for surgical instruments. cerA&Mvix provides a scalable technology with applications in many surgical fields.
