Proteins are the most advanced nanotechnology we know of. Engineered proteins such as new antibodies, enzymes, gene therapy vectors and motor proteins will be at the core of the biorevolution and change how we think about curing diseases, manufacturing products and designing new materials.
At Adaptyv Bio we're building a next-generation protein foundry. We combine advanced robotics, microfluidics and synthetic biology techniques to create fully automated protein engineering workcells that allow users to synthesize and test any protein they design.

Product Engineer

Product Manager / Fulltime

The Product Engineer at Adaptyv is responsible for developing and delivering software tools that support protein designers and scientists, managing the full product lifecycle from user research and design to frontend and backend implementation. The role involves creating intuitive interfaces, dashboards, and molecular biology tools that make complex biological data accessible and actionable. Key missions include collaborating with scientists to understand their workflows, building solutions that enhance productivity, iterating quickly based on feedback, and ensuring real-world impact. The position requires a product-focused mindset, high autonomy, full-stack and UI/UX skills, and a strong interest in biology or protein design.

Venture Kick

Venture Kick supports potential entrepreneurs with start capital up to CHF 150'000 as well as hands-on execution support and access to a nationwide network of investors and experts in the startup field. Multiple times per year, 8 selected projects get the opportunity to present their business ideas in front of a panel. The 5 most promising projects enter the support process. After 9 months at the latest, the startups incorporate and enter the market. Since 2007, Venture Kick has invested over CHF 58 million in over 1111 projects.
