UrbanDataLab is a DeepTech software Start-up that supports the digitization and scaling of real estate professionals by providing them with easy access to custom location knowledge, AI-driven business analytics and intuitive decision support tools. The easy to use cloud tool, using our unique Intellectual Property in Geoprocessing, BigData, Machine Learning and AI, provides local
insights on a global scale. This tool makes expensive in-house data science / geo science teams and IT infrastructure with expensive data contracts obsolete, whilst providing better insights and results.

The IT?Architect / Backend Engineer leads technical platform design and implementation for UrbanDataLab’s scalable geospatial data infrastructure. You translate data storage and processing requirements into state?of?the?art backend systems, build standardized APIs, manage security and user access, optimise performance, and support client?specific backend solutions.

Data Scientist (60%-100%)

Software Development / Parttime

The Data Scientist collaborates with clients to solve complex location analytics problems, builds prototypes with clear, maintainable code, and applies machine learning and statistical methods to extract insights from large, spatial datasets. You will support predictive insights development and help translate real?world problems into data?driven solutions.

ML Engineer (60%-100%)

The Machine Learning Engineer develops, maintains, and scales the company’s ML framework for spatiotemporal predictive analysis. Responsibilities include building machine learning modules, converting prototypes into production?ready systems, and integrating models into the scalable platform alongside backend and cloud components.

Sales and Marketing (20%-40%)

The Sales and Marketing Specialist supports UrbanDataLab’s business growth by identifying and understanding customer needs, managing CRM systems, creating sales and marketing materials, executing campaigns (e.g., newsletters, events), and representing the company at events. You will also help optimise the sales funnel and support PR and social media activities.

Venture Kick

Venture Kick supports potential entrepreneurs with start capital up to CHF 150'000 as well as hands-on execution support and access to a nationwide network of investors and experts in the startup field. Multiple times per year, 8 selected projects get the opportunity to present their business ideas in front of a panel. The 5 most promising projects enter the support process. After 9 months at the latest, the startups incorporate and enter the market. Since 2007, Venture Kick has invested over CHF 58 million in over 1111 projects.
