Under active bladder is a troublesome syndrome, estimated to affect 22% of the world population for which no definitive treatment exists. Patients affected by underactive bladder are not able to empty their bladder at the end of urination and this strongly affects their quality of life: these patients live with a continous sensation of incomplete bladder emptying which forces them to go very often to the bathroom (causing continous sleep disruption) and are very often hospitalised because of urinary infections. Currently catheters (small tubes inserted in the urethra till the bladder) are used to empty the bladders but, due to their direct contact with urine, these catheters very often are the cause of infections.
Our product is the first external (not-implanted) and urine-contact-less sol
