Lead Researcher – Quantum Machine Learning

Research / Fulltime

As the Lead Researcher in Quantum Machine Learning at Terra Quantum AG in St. Gallen, you will head an elite team at the intersection of fundamental physics and industrial AI. Reporting to the Director of AI, you will drive the development of hybrid quantum-classical algorithms designed to solve complex real-world problems in routing, NLP, and generative AI. Your role is a "bridge" between high-level theory and scalable software; you will spend your time analyzing parameterized quantum circuits (using metrics like the Fisher information matrix), improving model trainability via advanced regularization, and executing code on major QPUs (IBM Q, IonQ, QuEra). This is a high-impact leadership position that combines scientific publishing and patent drafting with a "Quantum-as-a-Service" mission to deliver tangible competitive advantages to global enterprise clients.
