Localfish is an enthusiastic Swiss start-up that is shaking up the Swiss fish market with its revolutionary sustainable, local Swiss fish farming method. We currently produce our healthy, fresh and extremely tasty Egli (perch), Zander and Catfish in three organic, land-based aquacultures in Bischofszell, Rafz and Lyss.
In a further phase, we are moving to saltwater production and breeding "local exotics", so that we no longer have to import fish from overseas. In doing so, we save up to 28,000 tons of CO2 per year. With digitisation, we monitor and control the plants and break new grounds in the full recycling of our waste into premium animal food and as fertiliser for our partners.
In addition, we produce products that the market demands but which cannot be produced as of today.
