Citizens do not tackle small legal issues, as lawyers seem too expensive. Jurata improves their access to justice with an online marketplace, that offers affordable legal advice at a fixed price. The consultations are supplied by law firms, whose usual hourly rates are cut down via digital efficiency and upside potential of client acquisition. Essentially, the business model is uberization of law: we reduce the gap between law seeker and legal expert by optimizing the technology and marketing in the middle. We believe the Swiss and French market to be in prime condition for B2C LegalTech and have shaped a founding team, that uniquely unites a user-centric mindset with legal know-how. The Digital Accounting Specialist at Jurata AG assists with bookkeeping and accounting tasks for SME clients while supporting the digitalisation and simplification of accounting and fiduciary processes. Responsibilities include working on financial accounting (e.g., accounts receivable/payable), payroll accounting (recording and processing payroll and social insurance), helping with monthly/quarterly/annual closings and VAT returns, maintaining and checking accounting and payroll data in digital systems, providing general administrative support, communicating with clients and authorities under guidance, and contributing to internal process improvements and the use of modern digital accounting tools.
