Incuray AG (Diabird)

Diabird makes life easier for type 1 and type 2 diabetics. The smartphone app improves diabetics' quality of life with a studied and clearly visualized solution. The unique approach of the Swiss Start-up facilates self-management and provides keeping a diary and joining a community for diabetics.

The mobile solution is based on a scientific paper that was written by Darshanen Vasanthan. The initiation for Diabird's development comes from a family member of him, which is affected by type 2 diabetes. The project started in August 2012. Since then, he and his business partner, Incuray, convinced a well-known pharma company and a Swiss diabetes society to support Diabird.
