Insufficient reading, writing or math skills denies access to good education and does not allow us to build trust in ourselves. Without education, we lack our own self-awareness. We are controlled from the outside, even manipulated and stand at the edge of society. This is why it is so important for us to invest in these basic pillars.
At Dybuster, we looked at neuropsychological research and how neuropsychological development differs in children with dyslexia or dyscalculia. The Venture Leaders - the members of the Swiss national startup team- have a clear-cut goal. They envision themselves as global players and want to take the first step to their global expansion. The ten-day business development program is specifically structured to help them achieve this goal.
The awards gives public recognition to those researchers, engineers, professors, students and government officials in Europe who have done the most to foster a culture of enterprise on campus. This can be through taking the risk of launching a spinout company, developing a discovery into a marketable innovation (at the risk of the tenure-track publication record), or promoting policies that create a receptive environment for entrepreneurship on campus.
CTI Start-up enables entrepreneurs to realize their innovative idea professionally.
In a process of three phases, over forty experienced coaches guide start-up companies on their way to enter the market successfully and attract financing. At the end of the coaching process, the most promising start-up companies have the opportunity to receive the prestigious CTI Start-up ’Label’. In addition, the companies benefit from the wide CTI Start-up network of industry experts, experienced entrepreneurs, business angels, venture capitalists and has access to foundations such as de Vigier, STI, FIT, Gebert, Rüf, etc.
Until today, CTI Start-up reviewed more than 1 800 projects, and awarded over 200 start-up enterprises with the CTI Start-up Label. Over 85% of these companies are still in business and some have shown remarkable growth, which is a sign that CTI Start-up guides them to sustainable success.
CTI also promotes the culture of entrepreneurship at universities, teaching hospitals, technical institutes as well as universities of applied sciences. CTI Entrepreneurship offers workshops to students on how to bring innovation to the market.
