OUR MISSION - ENABLING VALUE-BASED HEALTHCARE:
We facilitate the conduction of real world studies for research & clinical organizations (e.g., university hospitals), pharma, and medtech companies in a unique and efficient way, thereby enabling value-based healthcare through the compilation of useful patient generated data (ie., patient-reported outcomes and real world data).

INITIAL DISEASE FOCUS - RESPIRATORY DISEASES:
COPD & Asthma are both chronic diseases with a global health burden of more than USD 250 billion. There are currently no disease management solutions in the market that make use of mobile technologies and empower the patients to self-manage their disease anywhere and anytime and thereby not only improving the health conditions of these patients but also reducing the health care costs through preventing hospitalizations. Our digital disease management solution - which is currently clinically validated - has the aim to improve the patient outcomes along his/her journey.

OUR DOCDOK PLATFORM:
With our innovative and with its functional breadth & workflow integration capabilities unique communication platform docdok, docdok.health offers a solution to key pain points at the physician-patient interface. Physicians access a single digital platform for integrated secure patient communication. docdok integrates directly with the EMR and also connects to multiple patient healthcare devices. For the physician, this allows seamless streamlining of all incoming communication and data through a single channel. Every interaction is logged for liability protection and billing purposes. docdok also enables automated dissemination of appointment reminders, surveys and personalized content, including tailored disease management. This leads to improved efficiency and patient satisfaction while increasing revenue. For the patient, it means easy access to the physician and personal medical records through an app as well as improved care in between visits. Through our study module, we enable easy set-up and management of all study types.
The platform has been developed in an iterative approach with MVPs being tested in real settings prior to the launch of the current product. Customer interviews and feedback are constantly reflected in our development process.

OUR EXPERIENCED TEAM:
The two founders have combined 20+ years experience in developing and launching digital health / healthtech products ranging from disease management solutions for chronic diseases (e.g., diabetes, obesity, heart failure) as well as clinical workflow management (cloud based EMR systems) and value-based / outcomes solutions with hundreds of thousands patients worldwide using products brought to market by them.
Ulrich Muehlner: CEO & Co-Founder; Senior healthcare executive with 18 years experience (BCG, Novartis); led multi-billion dollar portfolio transformation project and major digital health partnerships (Google/Verily, IBM, Proteus) at Novartis
Yves Nordmann: Chief Medical Officer (CMO) & Co-Founder; Serial entrepreneur, (co-) founder of WellDoc, Oviva, E-Medicus
The founder team is complemented by a very seasoned board / advisory team including - among others - the former CEO of CSS, the largest Swiss healthcare insurer, and our very experienced IT team located in Switzerland and Israel to tap into the extraordinary talent pools of these countries.

OUR TRACTION:
We have developed, tested and launched our docdok platform in the Swiss market, have 4000+ patients enrolled to date and continue to grow fast. We have paying customers ranging from office-based physicians, (university) hospitals, research organizations / medical societies, pharma, and medtech companies as well as partnerships with companies and institutions like IBM, ETH, and T-Systems. We have a strong business pipeline and partnership network to scale our solution. Currently we are expanding into markets outside of Switzerland.
Our COPD & Asthma disease management solution is at the prototype stage which is now being clinically tested and validated.
We were ranked amongst the most promising European healthtech companies in 2018 by the HealthTech Summit, were selected as the only Swiss-based StartUp to participate in the prestigious Health Hub Vienna in 2019, and received a major grant by Innosuisse in 2018.
