Falls in older adults are a significant cause of morbidity and mortality. 30-50% of people living in long-term care institutions fall each year, and 40% of them experience recurrent falls. Dividat, a spin-off company of ETH, proofs that falls can be prevented effectively: In a multi-center RCT with 182 participants our technology-based therapy systems achieved a reduction in fall rates by 80%.
