We created CARU to empower older adults to age in place enhancing their quality of life and building a sustainable future for our aging society.
With our digital flatmate we help older adults enrich, improve and manage their day through simple voice commands such as «Hilfe - Hilfe!» (emergency call) and «Hallo CARU!» (Family Chat). Furthermore, CARU detects anomalies in their daily routines by integrated sensors and AI, and informs trusted people.
CARU was acclaimed by market experts as game-changing in the field of AgeTech and has been awarded on various occasions among others with the Design Preis Switzerland, Edition 19/20. In Spring 2020 we successfully closed the Series A with over 3 mCHF and did an early B2C launch to support families in Switzerland in these difficult times.
