The value of the business idea innovation is twofold: First, the online decision support tool with its enhanced meteorological, climatic, soil and crop growth forecast are of vital importance to any farmer. Second, the data to be gathered in the project in order to make such precise forecasts possible covers all aspects of agronomical production: data such as soil moisture, phenological stadiums of crop, growth curve overall the season, highlight on sensitive phase (water or fertilizer deficiency, ...), and harvest & distribution outcomes are of interest to any market player in the field. Moreover, the tool provides and aims at interaction with the user: the farmer can store key local variables in personalized accounts thereby allowing the app to further gather key local information.
