AgroSustain is a company founded in 2018 to reduce food waste and support sustainable food production by developing farm-to-fork solutions, like biofungicides, biostimulants and edible coatings. All the developed products of AgroSustain are patent-protected. Our first product is an edible coating, which helps to extend the shelf-life of fresh produce during lengthy storage or transportation and leads to a reduction of waste of up to 50%. Our product is already commercial in Switzerland and several EU locations. Currently, we are focusing on further market expansion and preparing to receive approval for the second commercial product of AgroSustain, a biostimulant for field application on grapes, strawberries and tomatoes in order to enhance plant growth in stressful environmental conditio

Venture Kick supports potential entrepreneurs with start capital up to CHF 150'000 as well as hands-on execution support and access to a nationwide network of investors and experts in the startup field. Multiple times per year, 8 selected projects get the opportunity to present their business ideas in front of a panel. The 5 most promising projects enter the support process.
