Venture Kick

Venture Kick supports potential entrepreneurs with start capital up to CHF 150'000 as well as hands-on execution support and access to a nationwide network of investors and experts in the startup field. Multiple times per year, 8 selected projects get the opportunity to present their business ideas in front of a panel. The 5 most promising projects enter the support process. After 9 months at the latest, the startups incorporate and enter the market. Since 2007, Venture Kick has invested over CHF 58 million in over 1111 projects.

Fondation-FIT

 La Fondation pour l'Innovation Technologique a pour but d'apporter un soutien au développement de projets à contenu technologique innovant présentant de grandes chances de faisabilité technique et économique, et donc des possibilités d'aboutir à la création ou au développement d'entreprises. Son soutien est accordé dans la mesure où le projet est réalisé en collaboration avec une des Hautes Ecoles de Suisse romande. Elle propose aux candidats de compléter les moyens dont ils disposent par un apport d'argent, un accès aux locaux du PSE, à proximité des laboratoires de l'EPFL et de l'UNIL, ou encore un encadrement après examen du dossier par un groupe de décideurs issus des milieux scientifiques et économiques. La FIT porte surtout un premier regard sur des projets encore en phase très initiale et s'attache, pour ceux retenus, à en soutenir les auteurs.

The Red Herring 100 Europe award highlight the exciting startups from the European business sphere. Applicants must be: A technology company / Headquartered in the specific geographical region of the corresponding Red Herring 100 award program / Privately held and not listed on any exchanges anywhere in the world.

The Prix Debiopharm

The Debiopharm Life Scicences Award is a tribute of Debiopharm Group to innovation as the key engine to medical progress, and it aims at motivating young innovative European researchers in the field of life sciences. It consists of a total amount of 100'000 Swiss Francs. One half of this amount is a personal reward and the other half supports the recipient's research. Potential candidates must be under the age of 40.

Being among the TOP 100 Startups in Switzerland has become a seal of approval for founders, and the TOP 100 Swiss Startup Ranking provides them with the recognition they deserve. As startups cannot appear in the startup ranking for more than five years after incorporation, the TOP 100 Swiss Scale-up Ranking has been introduced. A growth jury is asked to select the TOP 100 Swiss Scale-ups. These companies, aged five up to 10 years, show the greatest potential for further growth and represent the future Swiss unicorns
