Enexra GmbH UNIZH - Uni Zürich Lukas Lichtensteiger Platform technology for producing very thin disks from various crystalline materials. Siltectra has developed a disruptive technology that eliminates material losses when cutting crystalline silicon into thin wafers for solar cells. Current methods waste 50% of the precious silicon raw material, corresponding to over US$2.1 billion lost per year. Siltectra avoids this loss and can reduce the costs for silicon solar cells by over 40%. |
