Laserix sarl is specialized in the development and manufacture of lasers for veterinary, medical and industrial applications. LaserVet sarl was founded in 2006 by Pr. Pierre Emile Ravussin, Dr ès sciences techniques, Physicist Engineer from the Federal Institute of Technology of Lausanne, Dr. Gilbert Mouthon, Professor at the Ecole Nationale Vétérinaire de Maison Alfort (France), and Mr. Claude Daenzer. The laser systems are developed and the prototypes produced in a workshop located in Baulmes near Yverdon. Laserix sarl has developped Nd:YAG laser machines that have already drilled over 2 billions watch stones. Laserix has secured an agreement for the location of the company at the technology park Neode in Neuchâtel. The company is located at Neode, the Scientific park of Neuchâtel, with an asset of CHF 325'000.- that is 90% owned by Pr. Ravussin.
